amatasora:

Having found his bed in the Village of Wisdom finally, Amata was fully rested and ready to take on this new world. Before he left off, he’d checked in the Village’s library to find out about the layout of Arcadios, the map he found was literally etched into his brain by now. He only knew the overview of most of the places though, only checking for an in detail map of the main city, Polis.

Even with the research he had done, Polis’ streets confused Amata to no end. Several times, he’d found himself walking in circles, unable to make any real progress in trying to find some food. He figured that he’d never remember anywhere in the city if he kept having people lead him to where he had to go so he kept at it, though his hunger overcame his adventuring side, leaving him dragging his feet as he lazily traversed the streets.

Eventually, his efforts paid off in the form of a stall, selling various fruits and cooked food. Pleased with his lucky find, Amata picked up whatever he could manage and taking bites out of several different things to try them. He was enjoying his assortion of snacks, focusing all of his attention on them and causing him to walk right into someone. He hastily turned around to apologise until he saw the unfortunately familiar red-headed beast, he had so desperately wished to have avoided after coming here.

Most of his food had been knocked from his hands by now, he dropped the rest and stood his ground, hoping not to get hit by an unexpected attack. “Same as everyone else here,” he responded angrily. Why this guy? Couldn’t he just get a break? “You just keep your distance from Mikono, y’hear me?!” he yelled, preparing himself in case a fight broke out right there and then. He hadn’t had too much luck against Kagura before, he wasn’t going to take any chances when it wasn’t absolutely necessary.

His orange hair, violet eyes, that bulgy vest…these were the only things that separated Amata from the rest of the crowd. Lacking a scent for reasons beyond his comprehension, and lacking a reason to come between he and his wench, this guy was nothing more than a nuisance. A flea that shouldn’t even be alive. The rest left imprints detectable by his sharpest sense and those who lacked that sort of characteristic, what business did they have meddling with his destiny?

The other pilot’s answer was vague and uninteresting, though the next thing that left his mouth managed to ensnare his full attention. A threat? Already warding him away from something predetermined, something he fought to obtain on a daily basis back on Altair? His brows fell into a narrow, unwilling to hear the male’s excuses or reasons for being so obtrusive. During an earlier meeting — their first, he asked for permission to kill, which was unfortunately denied, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to take his frustrations out on the boy if goaded.

“Who the hell do you think you are?! Already planning to steal my wench…I won’t let it happen-!” Gruff and defensive as usual, Kagura then lifted that star-shaped fruit and swung it into his opposition’s face. At worst, Amata would have a face full of mush which ought’a make up for that…meal, the one all scattered about his feet.

Just, Where are We?

connectingelements:

Hmph, but really though! Amata should only be the one to fly for her, right? After all, she thought.. Well, she thought she was special. Not because she wanted to only keep him to herself and torture him— just the thought of his heart racing for her and enough to give him power.

However, could she say the same about the boy about to charge right into her? He seemed awfully familiar, like she had seen him somewhere before… And it bothered her from the back of her mind for the longest time, especially after he came and, well, licked her.

As soon as he came to a stop, a few feet away, she let her arms droop a bit. So, he did somewhat listen to her? That was different from when he had tossed her up in the air like she was practically nothing. She sent him a quirked eyebrow, but didn’t question him being far away. After all, hadn’t she requested that of him? But still, it didn’t stop her from being fully cautious about what he might do.

At his words, she paled significantly. Amata wasn’t here to protect her and Kagura seemed much, much stronger than she would ever be. Her face immediately became fearful and she took a subconscious step away from him, despite his promises about breaking her legs.

“There you go, calling me Sylvie again…! P-Please don’t touch me!!”

He didn’t understand why she seemed so apprehensive. He wasn’t going to do anything detrimental to her health — he only wanted to kill her. Her request there didn’t shed much light on the matter either. Still, his feet seemed to be rooted in place as more distance came between them, causing a crease in his brow.

“If you understand what I’m saying, knock it off.” A foot slid forward, hissing against the earth as a fist clenched. “I told you what I want, what’s the big deal? It’s normal, you can’t go against fate, Sylvie! No matter how hard you push, I’ll always be waiting to kill you.”

With that warning, determined steps were taken towards his prize. Whether he was being welcomed with opened arms or guarded sniveling it didn’t make much difference in the end. She would understand eventually. She would have to.

hide and seek — open

veiledshyness:

Well, there goes her first suggestion, rejected. She shouldn’t have been surprised at all, really. Kagura didn’t seem like the person who would wouldn’t agree to anything, not unless it directly involved him. And possibly finding his ‘wench.’

Trying not to let out a sigh of aggravation, she tugged Tama more closely to her chest, staring up at the other with a firm gaze, although it wavered a few times with hesitation. “I’m not stalling on anything! I simply asked if you wanted to eat with me.” Despite the fact that the red haired male could possibly be an enemy, and someone who could crush her under his grip if he wanted, Yunoha was going out on her way to be kind to him.

That was just her nature - as shy as she was. It had been the same with Jin. When she had found out he had been merely at the academy for spying purposes and to take back a powerful female elemental user, Yunoha hadn’t said a word to the adults. “I’m going to Polis. I-If you want to come, you can.”

This was about as much as forcefulness as she would show.

As she pressed on, an arm folded behind his head, cradling it, while his other stretched outwards. The motions came with an open yawn, not quite obnoxious enough to overlap her words but impolite all the same. A whole lot of thought didn’t go into these actions, what did a beast know of manners? A audible inhale (a sniffle, even) and a slight roll of the eyes found her within his vision once more.

“Polis? Don’t know anything about that.” Was it another planet? Certainly not one he’d heard of, so likely not. Perhaps it had to do with that arena? But she was just talking about food, was she not?

“Are you gonna explain that to me?” The query sent his head tilting, angling his head towards her. “Is that where it stinks so much?”

The urban district of Arcadios was particularly harsh on his nose. There were so many new things to smell and take in, things that interfered with his one-track mind and had his head tilting at puppydogconfusion angles. Not all of it was bad, on several occasions he found himself sniffing at strangely-shaped fruits and strangely-shaped women (though none of the latter could compete with his) and no one really seemed to mind. Odd glances and shielded whispers aside…violent reactions seemed to be a thing of the past.

Of course, he still had his own outbursts, but on a larger scale: both the abductors and aquarias were missing, and his communication device refused to connect to Mikage (unless he was using it wrong, which was up for debate) but it didn’t matter much. Sure, it pissed him off that his corresponders at Altair were ignoring him (or gave him faulty instructions), but here he’d found his wench and if only he could figure out where his Mithra Gnis ran off to, he would at least have that to fall back on.

Pulling away from a cart with a star-shaped fruit in hand, one he intended on presenting to his wench, Kagura’s shoulder met another’s unintentionally, yet forceful enough to spare the bystander a glance. Proper manners weren’t something the Altair-native was well-versed in, so either way this person wasn’t getting an apology… but that orange mop, that vest…champagne-colored eyes blinked once, twice to make sure he wasn’t being fooled, and a subtle growl rumbled in his throat.

You! You’re that bastard—! What do you think you’re doing here?!”

sniffin out my h8ters [closed]

“Can you hear me, Mikage?!” Unusually heavyfooted, an aggravated Kagura was stomping across a line of pressed grass, one leading straight up to Heavia’s crystalline lake. It was a path he’d taken time and time again, often coming here for a drink or to freshen up. This evening’s visit wasnt unusual.

“I’ve found my wench, so take me back already!” The red-head pressed on, practically growling into a device that was very dead, unbeknownst to it’s owner. Or rather, Kagura was aware that his cell phone wasn’t glowing with activity when it usually would, but that didn’t stop him from shouting into it, addressing a superior to essentially beam him back to his home planet (with his wench for some nookie). For all he knew, Mikage could hear him perfectly clear, and in that case.. “I’m telling you it’s fine now, so—”

The unexpected scent of something completely new caught his nose, causing it to twitch with curiosity. No, it wasn’t unpleasant, just unique enough to halt all things that weren’t about figuring out it’s source. His cellphone-wielding hand dropped to his side while champagne-colored eyes shifted from here to there in avid interest. “Who’s there, huh!? You smell pretty good…” Always a good way to coax new friends over.

hide and seek — open

veiledshyness:

Shifting nervously on her feet, Tama was brought closer to her, eyes glancing around. “I think..running around and looking everywhere for her isn’t going to do you any good.” He needed to have patience, but she doubted that was even imprinted in his brain.

Burying her face into her plushie, she sighed out softly. “Jin-kun..I wish you were here..” This was murmured to herself, knuckles white from how tightly she was holding onto her friend. Surely if the male was still alive, he would of been at her side, making sure nothing bad happened to her. She missed his presence greatly. With a bit of force, she cleared her mind away from those saddening thoughts, glancing up to stare at Kagura hesitantly behind her friend.

“U-Um..Are you hungry..? We can..go and eat in Polis and then you can look again for this..wench.” It pained her to call Mikono by that term, but it didn’t look like Kagura actually knew her name. And she rather not give it to him. “Y-You must be hungry, yes..?”

Clearly they weren’t on the same page, not that he was expecting to have much in common with this little wench in the first place. At least she hadn’t proven to be utterly useless. An impatient ‘hmmmm’ followed her murmuring, unaware she wasn’t really addressing him or anything relevant to his case, and fortunately he didn’t seem too keen on understanding.

Though her kindness came as a surprise. She wanted to eat with him? He couldn’t tell if she was pitying him, trying to trick him, or if she was truly just trying to be polite. Reliant more on instinct than introspection, Kagura gave a shrug and upturned his nose. “If I’m hungry, I know where to get food.” Not by name, in fact, Polis was a new word to him. His nose hadn’t failed him yet, however, and locating food when necessary wasn’t a big deal. “If you’re stalling, it won’t make a difference you know…”

Just, Where are We?

connectingelements:

That being said, Mikono hadn’t caught any drift that the mysterious boy was here yet. So, being the young soul she was, she began to move around, explore the place. The sun was cast overhead and it kind of remind her of her time in the academy. Whenever she stepped out into the patches of grass near the Berlin, the sun was there to greet her. Oh, how much she wanted to be back there. After all, who knew if the Abductors were wrecking havoc while she was away?

Her stomach clenched up, just thinking about it. No, Amata could hold up the fort by himself! Right? He had Zessica with him… Zessica and her seductress ways! Hmph, she hoped he was having fun without her anyway. Still, just imagining what Zessica could be doing to him right now..

Mikono furrowed her eyebrows, and eventually began to stray from the pre-made path. Her thoughts began to cloud over, however they didn’t block out the familiar, deep voice that called out. It couldn’t be…

But it was! The familiar bulk of a black coat and a fur trim was headed her way. It felt a little nostalgic, even though they didn’t have a giant robot covering them. W-Wait, didn’t she remember what happened last time? The fear washed over almost immediately.  Instinctively, she took a step back and then another, curling her hands in fornt of her chest protectively.

“P-Please stay away!”

Like that was going to hold him back…

Almost on cue he arrived to ruin her…whatever it was she was doing. Disparaging. Gosh, if he’d only known she was having ill thoughts towards that asshole, he’d calmly sit off to the side and allow her to completely write him out of her life.
Well, probably not, but he obviously would prefer whatever high regard she held Amata with.

He didn’t need his Misla Gnis to clear the distance between himself or his woman, nor did he have to perform any ridiculous parkour. There she was, same vicinity — almost, and on a level playing field. At first, it probably seemed as if he was going to barrel straight into her, but he came to an abrupt halt some several feet away at her request..sort of. He wasn’t going to stay away for long, or at all…
but really if he kept going he would have knocked her out anyway.

“Sylvie-! They were hiding you from me, but now look! You’re right in front of me. I can hold you and twist you in any way I want!” As always, he was all too happy to be sharing his innermost, wench-related desires. “Isn’t it great, Sylvie?! I’m gonna smash your legs to pieces, that way you’ll never be able to run from me again!”

hide and seek — open

veiledshyness:

His thread to her well-being sent the girl stiffening, face twisting into fear before it disappeared. She really had been an idiot for even thinking on helping Kagura. If she didn’t he was going to kill her! And just as she was about to ask something, she felt a pull on her plushie’s leg. Yunoha was a little startled as the male practically sniffed at her frog. She stared, a bit in surprise, before tugging Tama over to her a bit more, as if trying to protect her from his sniffing methods. “I-..I’m not underestimating you!” Really, she wasn’t.

This whole thing of her trying to help him find his wench was not working out so well. Without a solid description on what this person looked like, she was useless.

It smells like you’ve got some’ve my wench on you!

His words made her lift her head up, a little confused. She smelled like them? The only people I’ve ever really talked to back home were..Amata-san and Mikono.. Her expression became startled then. Mikono!? Sure, she was shy, and back home there wasn’t that many people that she hung out with. The girl with the strange cat, she had gotten a bit more closer with, somehow. (or probably because she had bumped into her more often) Maybe that’s why her scent lingered on her?

“I-..I think..I might know who you are talking about, but..she isn’t here.” Biting her lip, she quickly added in the next words, hopefully to reassure him (and so that he wouldn’t burst a gasket) “S-She might come to Arcadios sooner or later though! S-So..please be patient.” Poor Yunoha, if only she knew that she had ultimately sent her friend to her death by explaining this little information.

The frog wasn’t pursued as she pulled it away. He’d already had a few sniffs and drawn his conclusions, and it wasn’t as if he wanted the damn thing for himself.

“Mmh? Don’t lie to me.” Somehow, this wasn’t so much a threat as much as a comment — if she refused to help, she refused to help. If she played dumb, that was her call too, but in the end it didn’t really matter. If she was here, hiding in a cave or sitting on a cloud with that one asshole, he was going to find out. For one, she couldn’t hide forever, and secondly, there were few things that could outrun his nose. Her swift assurance only strengthened his beliefs (though unfamiliar with the term Arcadios — it wasn’t questioned), but which rock was it? What was she slathering herself with to make her so intangible?

“…The hell should I be patient for? You’re wasting my time by only telling me the things you wanna say.”

Just, Where are We?

connectingelements:

And Mikono was back where she started: completely alone. It was scary to wake up in an unknown place, especially since the Abductors had decided to appear the night before. Fluttering her seafoam-colored eyes open, she was met with the bright sunshine glaring down at her. How long had she been asleep? Sitting up, she felt Shushu, her pet cat move around in her hair. At least she knew one thing hadn’t changed. He moved, sitting on her shoulder and she directed her attention towards him.

“Hey, Shushu… Do you know where we are?” A shake of his ears indicated that no, he didn’t know where they were. Sighing and turning back to the mass of grass in front of her, she let her thoughts drift a bit. Where Amata and the rest here as well? Or was it just her…

Shushu burrowed his way back into her bun and Mikono stood up. She might as well get to know where she was, right?

Kagura had spent most of his time, not trying to understand this new place, not trying to make friendships as most were, and any interest in exploring had to do with one thing: his wench. Sylvie. All of Strength was aware of this by now, as he couldn’t have been more displeased to end up on a random planet without any rhyme or reason and without the one thing he desired most. Why everyone tended to work against him all the damn time he didn’t know, and he never bothered to question it either. He didn’t really care to listen to those who had unfavorable opinion on him, especially if said opinions were centered on his courting rituals. Fuck that.

However, one glorious day came along when a very unique scent caught his nose. He was in the middle of scooping water from Hevia’s lake with his partially gloved/sleeved hand when it happened. His fingers went lax, eyes wide, and his body went rigid with excitement (but not that sort of excitement s2g). After days of endless searching, finally…

His tongue swiped across his pre-moistened lower lip as he corrected his posture, standing to full height and facing the direction from which her aroma came.

Sylvie…”

“I knew you’d turn up, SSSYLLLLLLLLLLLVIE-!”

That declaration sent him running straight for her, heavy feet indiscreetly beating at the Earth with each eager step. He was sort of like a twisted version of Toucan Sam, following his nose to the prize and all that.
